Challenge
Four optimized polymer reactors could not run together at full capacity because their shared distillate recovery system was overloaded. The manufacturer operated at roughly 90% of the reactors’ upgraded capacity while internal teams focused elsewhere.
Response
PMO Partners assembled cross-functional stakeholders, defined requirements, managed external design expertise, and coordinated instrumentation and modeling. The work also identified a waste stream that could become a marketable product, which was incorporated into the design.
Outcome
The modification finished on time and within budget. Testing showed the recovery system could support 115% of the optimized reactor production rate. The client reported capacity for additional product worth $1.9 million in net profit, while a former disposal stream met saleable fuel specifications. That profit figure describes enabled production value rather than separately verified realized earnings.
An edited client story. Outcomes and figures describe the reported engagement, rather than a promise of results for another organization.
