Challenge

A confectioner needed to outsource gum-base production serving products in more than 180 countries. With four months before the original plant closed, fifty of approximately sixty bases still required transfer. Processes had not previously been documented in full, and a key internal leader had moved roles.

Response

PMO Partners established a cross-functional team across R&D and global manufacturing, creating a reliable point of coordination. Individual transfer plans addressed equipment, methods, validation, quality records, batch release, and site approval. Regular communication and risk plans helped resolve issues across locations.

Outcome

The company transferred all sixty gum bases on time and maintained uninterrupted supply to global markets. The result demonstrates the value of detailed transfer planning and shared visibility when the production deadline cannot move.
