Define the production outcome
A commissioned building is an important milestone, but it does not establish reliable output. Expansion programs need measurable ramp-up goals for sellable volume, yield, unit cost, capacity utilization, and delivery performance. A realistic learning curve matters more than a single handover date.
Lead one integrated program
Connect engineering and construction with quality, supply chain, maintenance, workforce training, systems, and commercial commitments. Give operations authority at readiness gates. Test supplier capacity and employee proficiency rather than tracking purchase orders and headcount alone. Protect time for pilot production, equipment tuning, and operator practice so construction delays do not quietly transfer risk into startup.
