Learning with local partners
PMO Partners volunteers supported childhood literacy through organizations including Reading Partners NYC, Tandem Partners in Early Learning, Reading in Motion, Open Books, and Bring Me a Book. Activities ranged from one-to-one reading to adapting learning materials and creating inviting spaces.
Concrete contributions
Chicago employees supplied 70 backpacks and books. St. Louis colleagues built book boxes for 26 kindergarteners, each of whom selected five books for a home library. Boston volunteers improved a community center and helped children write their own stories. The campaign combined practical resources with the encouragement that comes from time spent learning together.
