Challenge

A biopharma startup and a global pharmaceutical company shared an asset-development goal but lacked clear responsibilities, transparent information, and efficient approvals. Staff changes and competing resource demands added friction and threatened progress toward an NDA.

Response

PMO Partners combined program leadership with alliance management. An integrated plan exposed missing study dates, resource gaps, and strategic differences. The consultant facilitated agreement, strengthened risk planning, and gave executives clearer information for decisions. As trust increased, the partners streamlined governance and aligned budgets and priorities.

Outcome at publication

Decisions became faster and functions worked from more accurate schedules and budgets toward an accelerated filing. The NDA and planned asset acquisition were still future objectives. The work improved the alliance’s operating foundation without implying those milestones had already occurred.
