Awareness through participation

PMO Partners’ September 2021 report described a community program responding to pandemic-related stress and isolation. Volunteers joined walks, raised $1,125 in one Bay Area effort, and supported organizations including NAMI, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Santa Clara University’s Wellness Center.

Education and everyday essentials

Employees hosted awareness presentations, recorded encouraging children’s stories, and donated books, journals, backpacks, and planners. A St. Louis team assembled support kits for Places for People and helped improve its outdoor space.

The report documents historical volunteer activities and the organizations involved. Its focus is community participation and understanding, rather than clinical advice or a claim that a volunteer program substitutes for professional care.
