Challenge
A company preparing an injectable cholesterol therapy faced shifting approval timing and competitive pressure. Its access-marketing program involved call centers, nurses, education, pricing, reimbursement, and specialty pharmacies, with annual administrative costs above $80 million.
Response
PMO Partners coordinated vendors through an integrated schedule, clarified interdependencies, and established budget tracking and process flows. The team addressed missed supplier commitments while maintaining readiness for the eventual approval date.
Outcome
The support program was ready when approval arrived a month later than initially projected, enabling the product launch. The historical source reported $185 million in 2016 sales. Its much larger future sales figure was a projection, not a realized outcome. The engagement continued into access-reimbursement operations and related launch work.
