Challenge
Construction of a 650,000-square-foot hospital advanced eight months ahead of schedule, compressing preparation for twenty-five interdependent IT implementations. Many projects shared the same resources and depended on construction milestones.
Response
PMO Partners coordinated a master schedule, resource requirements, vendor communication, budgets, and technology integrations. Workstreams covered infrastructure, patient monitoring, and clinical systems. Two major operational dry runs tested readiness and helped staff become familiar with new systems.
Outcome
The hospital completed the IT program ahead of schedule and implemented all systems required for go-live by patient move-in day. Coordinating the construction and technology plans avoided a costly delay and provided a clearer view of dependencies across the opening program.
