Challenge

Two heritage companies used different methods for creating, managing, and archiving submission records. Cultural differences and uneven affiliate capabilities complicated a shared global process.

Response

PMO Partners designed and implemented a six-month harmonization program across 15 business units. Common document structures, archiving practices, project plans, and schedules clarified responsibilities and made dependencies easier to manage.

Outcome

Teams could retrieve and assemble submission documents more easily, reducing the overall submission timeline. The work also exposed incompatible business policies beyond the document system itself. Business units developed recommendations to resolve these gaps, extending the improvement beyond a technology rollout into more consistent operating practices.
