Community support with a personal connection
PMO Partners’ first-quarter 2019 service program focused on organizations providing assistance animals. Teams volunteered at Canine Companions events, helped socialize puppies, and created training mats for Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy.
Practical support behind the placement
Employees assembled 100 welcome bags for families training with America’s VetDogs, provided supplies for Helping Paws volunteers, and helped maintain the Service Dog Project’s farm. Other volunteers supported CHAMP Assistance Dogs through a fundraising event.
The activities recognized that successful animal assistance programs depend on trainers, volunteers, facilities, and family support as well as the animals themselves. This May 2019 archive preserves the historical partner names and reported activities without presenting them as current service availability.
