Walking and volunteering together
PMO Partners’ September 2023 community report described support for the Children’s Heart Foundation and other pediatric organizations. Employees joined congenital heart walks in several cities, volunteered at event logistics, and raised funds. The effort was led by Kellie Villarreal, whose family had a personal connection to congenital heart disease.
Comfort beyond the fundraiser
Other teams hosted an ice cream sundae activity at Camp Rhythm, created activity packs for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and supported bingo programming at Children’s Minnesota. Volunteers also assembled more than 100 toiletry kits for patients and families.
The activities addressed both research support and the everyday experience of children receiving care. This archived report preserves those historical contributions and does not make new clinical claims about treatment or outcomes.
