Responding to practical needs
PMO Partners selected refugee resettlement as a quarterly philanthropy theme in the effort reported in early 2023. Families arriving in a new country often need household essentials as well as connection to an unfamiliar community.
A community welcome
The Los Angeles team supported Miry’s List, packing 16 boxes of clothing, shoes, and household items. Colleagues in other locations contributed through organizations helping refugees and immigrants connect with resources and opportunities. The employee-led initiative paired donations with a focus on helping families establish daily life. Historical displacement figures in the original announcement are not presented as current estimates.
