Support for daily needs
Published in April 2022, this PMO Partners community archive describes holiday activities supporting people experiencing homelessness. Volunteers contributed 16 pies to an Avivo Thanksgiving meal and assembled 30 winter outreach kits. Teams also provided household supplies through HomeFront and gifts through Compass Family Services and St. Patrick Center.
A welcoming transition
Other efforts included more than 20 welcome-home baskets for Friends of Boston’s Homeless and 246 bagged meals for the Chicago Help Initiative. Pandemic restrictions prevented some planned in-person activities, prompting monetary contributions instead.
The work focused on immediate comfort, dignity, and practical necessities. Quantities and partner names reflect the historical report; they are not an assertion that the same activities are currently underway.
